07 Nov Tippy
From her humble beginnings on Okanagan First Nations land, Tippy became the grand Dame of our home.
She never suffered fools or small children, preferring to jump to high places rather than deal with their fingers poking her. She regularly gifted us with mouse bodies, taking only the heads for herself.
She was always up for adventure, once tucking herself in a pile of leaves in a trailer, only to be discovered when we reached the landfill. She could always be counted on to get in to any car through an open window so that guests had to be searched before leaving.
She slowed down a lot since the smoky summer, and perched on a beautiful living room chair and beckoned to have her heat pack reheated, or some tuna juice delivered to her.
She lived fully in her 17+ years, and she will be missed.
