Sukki

Sukki entered my life in 2015. She was cute, loving, curious and had deep soul brown eyes, her black and white coat, and her gentle presence. As soon as she came into my world, her heart allowed me to heal many layers of trauma I had experienced in the past. She was patient, supportive and generous like no one I had encountered. She would follow me everywhere and make sure I was okay, always. Her unconditional love filled the house and my heart with a pure love hard to describe. We had the opportunity to live in different parts of Canada, in Florida and in different parts of Mexico. She was a loving companion who was always ready for a drive, an adventure, a hike, a swim and some early morning or evening cuddles.

In the summer of 2026, she was diagnosed with bone cancer and we fought together for a few months. Even if she lost the ability to walk and explore in the end, she stayed loving, brought new people together, touched so many hearts. I am forever grateful for her presence in my life. I love her more than anything in this world, and I know she is with me in spirit now. I miss her physical presence, her goofiness, her soulful eyes, her soft fur, her zoomies, her distinct barks, her unconditional acceptance and love. May you rest in peace and enjoy the freedom of returning home. I will be happy to meet you again in another form when the time comes.

Thank you SukkiLou, my baby girl, for being my forever love.
