24 May Sandi
Sandi Ledzinski (December 25, 2004 – May 22, 2020)
Sandi was born on Christmas day in 2004. She was a birthday present for my daughter from her Auntie Laura and immediately took over my heart. Her personality was much bigger than her little frame and she had an attitude to match. She thought she was much larger than she was and as such would rule over all other dogs, even in their own homes. One time she decided a Rottweiler needed an attitude adjustment so she chased him through an off leash park. Unfortunately, he was actually scared of her which just solidified her thoughts on her stature. I am so thankful to my friend Laura for bringing her into our lives. Sandi was my best little furry friend for over 15 years and she is so sorely missed that I can not find the words to convey how broken my heart feels right now. I feel truly thankful to have had so much time with her although it does not feel like enough.
Sandi was the perfect gift for our home. She was larger than life and she showed us everyday how lucky we are to have her. She gave us so many memories that we will cherish forever and we will never be able to thank her enough for the joy she brought us. Her crazy moments of running around after a bath, her joy of trying to eat her own splashes in the lake and the many MANY kisses we were given when we got home from a long day of work and/or school. If there is such a thing as heaven for dogs, she deserves the best spot that can be given.
We will miss Sandi terribly and will cherish all the wonderful memories of her. Rest in peace you beautiful little soul.
