Maya

Maya was my family, my love, my companion and the greatest support system I could have ever had. She was the reason I got out of bed everyday for fourteen and a half years. It seems like just yesterday when she was eight weeks old and I held her in my arms for the first time…I’ll never forget that day…I felt like I had won the lottery.

I shared the best experiences of my life with Maya. We kayaked all over BC together and snowshoed the eastern slopes of the Rockies and the Coastal Mountains together. We camped on beaches and in the mountains in my little backcountry tent. She put many miles on those little paws running behind my mountain bike. Maya was always so well behaved and loving to all animals. She was a gentle, old soul. She touched many hearts over the years.

I love you Maya and I miss you. Rest in peace on Rainbow Bridge sweetie. xoxo
