Crepe

It is with a heavy heart I announce the passing of my little man Crepe, or formally known as Mr. Crepe at Mission Creek Animal Hospital. He died in my arms on March 21st, 2022, after 13 years of keeping me accountable for his well being and his desires for the finer things in life.

Crepe leaves behind his biological feline sister, Marilyn Monroe, who he was lucky enough to spend his entire life with. He loved her dearly and couldn’t get enough of snuggling, chasing, and biting her.

Crepe was a confident chunk of a man who really liked to explore his tastes and interests. He had a very refined palette and was always up for tuna treats, roasted chicken, Chinese food, and dirty gin martinis. His hobbies included garden grazing, fireplace snoozing, and overseeing my attempts at cooking. He was also a lover of the camera and was always up for posing to show off his naturally gorgeous physique.

In Crepe’s later years he suffered from congenital heart disease and required a new kind of care that he and I were not used to. But with the help of his doctor at MCAH, we were able to enjoy another 18 months of time together.
It took a village to take care of little Crepe so I want to say a very big thank you to his Graziano family, his Toronto and Kelowna friends, his babysitters, and his team at MCAH. Lastly, I would like to thank Jared at Okanagan Pet Cremation for his time and care of my beloved Crepe.

Tanto Amore,
G
