Bijou

My sweet Bijou. From living your young life in a shelter to spending your last moments surrounded by the utmost love. You were so small for being 14 years old, yet you were a fighter. You were my best friend and still are, you were there for my high school graduation and I wanted you to make it to my university graduation but your small body couldn’t handle the pain any longer. You taught me patience and how to make it through anything life would throw at me. You started to use your little body to produce the smallest meows and would talk to me anytime you wanted. By the end of your life, you began to spend your time in the bathtub, ironic for a cat who hated water for her entire life. You kept me on my toes and I would stop at anything for you. Even if that meant my last penny, which I did. The doctor said you have 2 weeks left, that was probably the hardest decision I’ll ever have to make. You spent your last day being spoiled like always and sitting in the creek outside of the house. From the moment you were rescued to the last breath you took, you had and still have my whole heart. Mom misses you, my sweet bean.
