Mishka

We said goodbye to our sweet girl, Mishka, on June 30th, 2025. Mishka joined our family when she was 4 years old, and gave us almost 9 years of joy, laughter, and so many wonderful memories. In her younger years Mishka adored playing fetch with balls, romping in the wading pools with her girls, and going to doggy daycare to play with her friends. She was a champion cuddler, a lover of snacks and sunbeams, and loved to “help” with chores around the house. Mishka was always willing to don a tiara or sport a dress when her girls wanted to play dress-up, a reflection of her easy-going nature.

In her later years Mishka graciously welcomed two senior rescue dogs into our home, first Pepe and then Teddy. She showed them the daily routines and the all-important pantry, and that the world is not always such a scary place.

She was a beautiful soul who gave us more love and happiness than we could have imagined, and the only thing we would change is if she could have stayed just a little bit longer.
