BUDDY
My Little Angel

Nov 26, 2010, the love and bond did start.
When Buddy and I entered each other's heart.
He was nervous the moment he walked into my place.
So, I let him wander to get comfy in my space.

I became his guardian to provide for, love, feed and train him.
Hence, he would grow up to be a part of my tree and limb.
We grew up to be inseparable with everything we did.
Like father and son, he was my kid.

I gave him a life a lot of dogs don't get.
Home cooked meals, lots of toys and no regret.
I would do anything for him; he was my soul mate.
Even when I finished dinner, he would lick my plate.

He was my best friend anyone could ever want.
The love expressed to each other when we flaunt.
He was truly my therapy companion I needed him the most.
When life was challenging here and on the coast.

He grew up so fast, where did the time go?
My little Buddy taught me to love; oh, it did show.
He was more than just a dog for me.
He was my little angel for me to see.

On August 17, 2010, the day Buddy was born.
I lay him to rest June 21, 2026, for me to mourn.
Although the years will go by and the memories will last.
I will cherish the time we had together even though it went so fast.

I love and will miss you my little Buddy
For you my little Angel

Hi Buddy, it’s me. I just wanted to say I miss you every day since you left me on June 21. It’s only been over a week and I know your spirit is around me as I do feel it. You know I will always love you even though your physical being is no longer here. Our spirits will reunite one day. Big hugs my little man.
